Each year Lions District 105SC, which Fareham Lions is part of, provide a Paultons Park “Day out with the Lions” for those less fortunate, disabled and vulnerable members of our community who would really enjoy a day of fun at Paultons Park.
There is no charge to those with our tickets for this day out – it is entirely funded by our Lions Clubs.
In 2015, the district beat all records for the number of visitors with over 3,000 tickets sold plus the little ones under 1 metre. A total of 29 Clubs took part and raised over £32,000 to make this happen.
Fareham Lions Club provides 30 tickets each year to children and their family.
Each year we choose different organisations to support.
2019 – Children with Muscular Dystrophy
2018 – Children in Care, Hampshire County Council Fostering team
2017 – Children from St Francis Special School, Fareham
2016 – Children from an organisation that supports those with Autism
Who will we invite next year?
If you are part of an organisation that works with young people, who may be disadvantaged or have learning or physical differences then please get in touch.
It’s a great day out for everyone, so come on, join in the fun!
If you would like to be there, please contact your local Lions Club.
